PRESS CONFERENCE AT THE GEOLOGY INSTITUTE HELD
A press conference dealing with mud volcanoes has taken place at the Geology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences, AzerTAj reports.
Deputy chief of the mud volcanism department Adil Aliyev noted that there are over 300 mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan and they account for 45 percent of the total quantity of mud volcanoes on earth.
Volcano mud is widely applied in construction works, health and other spheres.
