Baku, March 3 (AZERTAC). To hold or not to hold a referendum is an internal affair of every country. So it`s not an object for international monitoring, said Ali Hasanov, Head of the Department of Public-political Issues of Presidential Administration. It is parliamentary and presidential elections that the OSCE monitoring mission may deal with. “However, the Azerbaijan side has invited representatives from major European institutes, including the Council of Europe and its Parliamentary Assembly for March 18 referendum,” Mr. Hasanov pointed out. He added: “should any other organization wish to observe the referendum, we are ready to create every opportunity for them”.
