Roadmap for higher education cooperation with Azerbaijan outlined in Nicosia

The Ministry of National Education of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) hosted a meeting dedicated to cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of higher education.
According to AZERTAC, the meeting, chaired by TRNC Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, included a presentation on the opportunities of Northern Cyprus universities in Azerbaijan, as well as an exchange of views on establishing ties between the higher education institutions of both countries.
Hasan Kılıç, Rector of the Eastern Mediterranean University, and other participants took part in the discussions.
The sides outlined a roadmap that includes organizing exhibitions of TRNC universities in Azerbaijan, opening offices to showcase the capabilities of Northern Cyprus universities, and establishing closer ties between the youth of the two countries.
Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu stated, “Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan are united by historical fraternal ties. It is very important to demonstrate our cooperation in education and culture.”
