RUSSIA AND AZERBAIJAN SIGN INTENT PROTOCOL ON CONSULAR AFFAIRS
Baku, February 25 (AZERTAC). An intent protocol concerning consular affairs was signed between Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia. Following consultations held here today, the document was signed by Chief of the consular department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nadir Huseynov and representative of the consular department of Russian Foreign Ministry Lev Pauzin.
Discussions mainly revolved around legal situation of citizens of both countries living in Azerbaijan and Russia, situation of Azerbaijan nationals illegally living in Russia, their killings in Russia, problems in deportation of Azerbaijani citizens, their detention conditions, migration processes and other issues.
During the talks, representatives of both countries` various ministries and state committees shared their ideas on the issues discussed.
The previous consular consultations were held on January 30-31 2007 in Moscow.
