Russia name squad for Spain friendly
Baku, January 22 (AZERTAC). The Russian football team have announced their squad for a friendly against Spain due to take place in Marbella on February 6.
Russia, which together with Azerbaijan are drawn in Group F in the FIFA World Cup 2014`s qualifying round, will take three goalkeepers to Spain - Igor Akinfeev (CSKA), Vladimir Gabulov (Anji), and Anton Shunin (Dinamo)
Full-backs are Alexander Anyukov (Zenit), Alexey Berezutskiy, Vasily Berezutskiy, Sergey Ignashevich, Kirill Nababkin (all from CSKA), Vladimir Granat (Dinamo), Andrey Yeshchenko, and Yuri Zhirkov (both from Anji).
Russia`s half-backs include Vladimir Bystrov, Igor Denisov, Viktor Fayzulin, Roman Shirokov (all from Zenit), Alan Dzagoev (CSKA), Denis Glushakov, Alexander Samedov (all from Lokomotiv), Oleg Ivanov, Igor Lebedenko (all from Terek), Dmitry Kombarov (Spartak Moscow), and Alexander Ryazantsev (Rubin).
In offensive, Russia will pin hopes on strikers Maxim Grigoriev (Lokomotiv), Alexander Kerzhakov (Zenit), Alexander Kokorin (Dinamo), and Fedor Smolov (Anji).
