SPEAKER OF AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENT MEETS TURKEY`S SUPREME COURT CHAIRMAN
Baku, 13 May (AZERTAC). Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament) Ogtay Asadov met Turkish delegation led by Chairman of the Supreme Court Hasan Gercheker.
Mr. Asadov underlined that such visits serve to even more development of the relations between the two friendly countries. Reciprocal visits of the two countries` presidents and signed documents strengthen legal basis and deepen cooperation between the two countries and nations.
Speaker noted that due to the purposeful policy of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, the democratic legal state was created in Azerbaijan. He praised participation of Turkish delegation in opening of the new building of Azerbaijan Supreme Court.
Mr. Gercheker thanked for invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the Supreme Court building. “We are proud of having friendly and fraternal relations with Azerbaijan”, said Gercheker. He noted that there will be done everything to further develop and strengthen the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The sides also exchanged views on interparliamentary ties and other issues of mutual interest.
Head of Milli Majlis Administration Safa Mirzayev, Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilich and other officials were present at the meeting.
