TO PARTICIPANTS OF FIFTH FORUM OF AZERBAIJANI YOUTH
Dear Forum participants,
Dear young fellow citizens,
I cordially greet you - participants of the Fifth Forum of Azerbaijani Youth, all the youth of Azerbaijan, wish each of you health, happiness and success in your activity for development of our country.
Azerbaijan is the country of youth. We are a unique and dynamically developing country in the world majority of the population of which are youth. The role of youth gradually rises in the economy based on knowledge, in application of new technologies, in realization of large-scale reforms in the republic. The relevant youth policy and a special state program is successfully realized.
Youth policy of every state is addressed to the future. In Azerbaijan, which, on the economic development and rate of implementation of the economic reforms holds the leading position in the world, opening of new workplaces, realization of socio-economic program of regions, rise of the welfare of the population allows looking forward with optimism. In Azerbaijan, the accomplishments gained by youth in science, education, culture and sports arouse sense of pride in heart of every citizen and impart confidence for reliable future.
In the period passed from the First Youth Forum, we have created legislative base on work with youth, the legal-standard acts were improved, and made important steps to solve the existing problems. We have reached notable achievements in the education of youth, their engagement, and settlement of their social problems. In establishment and development of civil society, the authority of youth associations rises day by day.
I am convinced that the Azerbaijani youth able to preserve our national-moral wealth, customs and traditions, adhering universal values and acquiring advanced world achievements, will mobilize its opportunities to further strengthen our country’s independence, its territorial integrity, to promote development of economy, science, education and culture.
I hope that your supreme gathering will estimate your activity in the passed years, specify the main problems of the youth policy in the years ahead and mobilize all the youth to implement the decisions adopted.
