UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT OFFICIALLY WELCOMED TO AZERBAIJAN
Baku, April 9 (AZERTAC). President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko was given an official welcome here on Thursday.
The Ukrainian leader and his spouse Katerina Yushchenko were warmly met by President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
The two Presidents inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as a military orchestra played national anthems of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani officials were introduced to President Viktor Yushchenko, while members of the Ukrainian delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
The Presidents then posed for photographs.
