US-AZERBAIJAN EDUCATION CENTER TURNS ITS ONE
The US embassy to Azerbaijan has hosted an event devoted to the first anniversary of establishing the US-Azerbaijan Education Center established a year ago to create possibilities for students exchange, disseminate information on American education and culture, promote development of libraries in Azerbaijan, their equipping with necessary facilities and providing with Internet access. Mrs. Karin McClelland, a Charge’ d'affaires of the United State sto Azerbaijan highly valued activities of the organizations promoting education development in Azerbaijan and told about the Center. Minister of Education Misir Mardanov expressed the gratitude to the US government and people for the assistance in developing education in Azerbaijan, and stressed the importance of local educational institutions’ collaboration with the Center.
