Baku. 7 February (AZERTAC). The 45th Munich Conference on Security Policy continues its work on Saturday.

The event focuses on “Stability in Europe and ensuring energy security”, “Current state on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, “issues on NATO`s improving.”

The conference brings together 300 representatives, as well as 70 official delegations from 50 countries.

Delegation headed by Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov represents Azerbaijan at the event.

On the sidelines of the conference, Mammadyarov is expected to hold informal meetings with GUAM member countries` foreign ministers to discuss prospects for cooperation, joint activities and other issues.

Mammadyarov will also meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to discuss bilateral relationship, as well as to specify the exact date of his planned visit to Baku.

The conference will end on February 8.
