ARCHEOLOGICAL SURVEY IN TOVUZCHAY CEMETERY

The Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of Azerbaijan National Academy of is surveying Tovuz cemetery revealed dating form late II thousand years B.C.- early I thousand years B.C, which is located in the Tovuz province’s area where the main export Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline is expected to pass. The survey has revealed some 30 cemeteries, samples of ancient culture, adornments, daggers etc.
