ARMENIAN SCIENTIST CONFIRMS THAT NAGORNO KARABAKH IS AZERBAIJANI LAND
Baku, 18 February, (AZERTAC). The Armenian Diaspora of the United States of America has in literal sense fallen upon the known professor of the Armenian origin Ronald Suny, and the reason for this became his recognition in the new book “The Armenian People: From Antiquity Up To Now”, Nagorno Karabakh as the historical land of Azerbaijanis.
Ronald Suny, founder of the Program of the Armenian Researches of the Michigan University, in the new book notes that Nagorno Karabakh was the historical land of ancient Albanians, which, as the professor writes, are ancestors of Azerbaijanis and Turks, and marks that Nagorno Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijanis. Suny writes: “To the territory named “historical Armenia”, the Armenians have come 2600 years ago. The newcomers have abolished the state of Urartu existing here during this period. The Armenian historians of V century Pavstos Buzand, Movses Khorenatsi and Egishe are false historians”.
Similar recognition of the scientist became the reason of rough discontent of the radical wing of the Armenian Diaspora.
