AUDIOVISUAL FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN BAKU
Azerbaijani Guild of professional film directors (AGPF) prepares conduction of the 3rd International Audiovisual Festival-2003. This annual Baku festival, conducted under the support of Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, “Azerbaijanfilm” Studio and other organizations, is arranged by AGPF and Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism, AzerTAj was informed by the Bureau Chairman of the Guild Huseyn Mehdiyev.
Films and their authors must pass selection commission, and the works must be submitted not later than October 15. The films, admitted to the competition will be named before October 20.
Festival-competition will be held on such nominations, as best feature film, documentary, animation, authors TV program, clip, advertisement, and computer graphics.
Best operator work, script, debut, producer work, montage will be awarded by professional prizes. Participation of authors and films from the CIS countries and Europe is expected.
