AUL hosts exhibition of Chinese artists
Baku, December 30 (AZERTAC). An exhibition of “Xinhua” News Agency dedicated to the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China has today started in the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).
The exhibition was organized by the Chinese embassy to Azerbaijan, ZTE Telecommunication agency, Baku office of the “Xinhua” Agency, Confucius Institute within the Baku State University and the Anhui University of China.
Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony, rector of AUL, MP and Prof. Samad Seyidov spoke about the Azerbaijan-China relations. He noted that Chinese culture and language centres had been opened in AUL. According to him, AUL attaches great importance to the cooperation with Chinese embassy to Azerbaijan. He said that student-teacher exchange will be carried out with the Chinese universities.
Representative of “Xinhua” Agency Liu Yang gave detailed information about the exhibition. He underlined the significance of exhibition and said that the exhibition would contribute to development of friendship relations between the two countries.
