AZERBAIJAN THEATER’S SUCCESS
Azerbaijan was represented by the Baku Chamber Theater and theater ‘Zaman’.
The troupe stayed in Iran for 6 days on the invitation of the Iranian Cultural center, achieved success at the festival with the participation of Teheran, Italian, Syrian, Moscow and other popular groups, showin Mirza Fatali Akhundov’s comedy, Baku Chamber theater chief, honored artist Gular Nabiyeva informed AzerTAj correspondent. Members of the group were awarded with diplomas and prizes of the festival.
It was noted that actors of Zaman theater led by Nizami Mirsalayev successfully participated in the festival as well. Comedy ‘Yukhu’ directed by honored artist Agakhan Salmanov was greeted with cheers, actors of the theater were awarded with diplomas and prizes of the festival as well.
