Azerbaijani Auditorium opens at Vilnius University

Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov has attended the opening of the Azerbaijani Auditorium at Vilnius University as part of his visit to Lithuania. Mammadyarov was accompanied by Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Darius Skusevičius and Rector of the University Artūras Žukauskas.
The establishment of the Azerbaijani Auditorium at Vilnius University aims to increase the university staff's awareness of Azerbaijani realities, its history, culture, literature, art, and support the researches on Azerbaijan.
After viewing the Auditorium, FM Mammadyarov expressed his confidence that the center will contribute to the promotion of scientific and humanitarian ties between the two countries and strengthening relations between the two countries' students.
Mammadyarov then responded to questions from Lithuanian journalists and met with Azerbaijani students studying at Vilnius University.
Vilnius University is one of the oldest universities of Eastern Europe. Forty-four Azerbaijani students are currently studying at Vilnius University.
