Azerbaijani pupils meet Turkish Cypriot leader
Ankara, January 23 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani pupils and director of the Department of Science in Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gultekin Huseynova have met with the President of North Cyprus, Dr. Dervish Eroglu, in Lefkosa.
The Turkish Cypriot leader expressed his satisfaction with the participation of pupils in courses in the Northern Cyprus and wished them success.
Azerbaijani pupils presented an ancient picture of Baku monuments to the Turkish Cypriot leader.
Some 45 Azerbaijani pupils are attending the Northern Cyprus courses.
It is pertinent here to mention that 45 pupils have participated at the preparatory courses in Doku Akdeniz University who will have to join the Olympiad in May current year in the United States.
