AZERBAIJANI-ROMANIAN CULTURAL RELATIONS EXPANDING
On the initiative of the Writers Union of Romania, presentation of book of the ‘Paul Polidor’ Fund’s director, singer and composer P. Polidor, ‘Path of the Truth’ in the Romanian language with the verses of the well-known Azerbaijani and Romanian poets, CDs with interviews dedicated to development of cultural relations between the two countries was held, Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. Officials of Romania, heads of the Writers’ Union, renowned writers, members of Romania-Azerbaijan friendship society, Azerbaijani students educating in Bucharest and employees of Azerbaijan Embassy to Romania attended the ceremony. Deputy Chairman of the Writers Union of Romania I. Flora stressed the further expansion of the friendly relations established between Romania and Azerbaijan and noted that his country attached a great significance to development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture, science, art and other ones.
