Azerbaijani weightlifter wins three medals at Islamic Games
Riyadh, November 9, AZERTAC Azerbaijani weightlifter Isa Rustamov (71 kg) has claimed three medals at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh.
The national team member secured bronze in the snatch by lifting 147 kg.
He took silver in the clean and jerk with a lift of 177 kg.
In the overall two-lift total, Rustamov finished third with 324 kg, earning another bronze.
Yesterday, Azerbaijan’s female weightlifter Nuray Abilova (48 kg) also won three bronze medals.
