Azerbaijan`s President receives Chinese prosecutor general, president of IAACA VIDEO
Baku, April 12 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Chinese delegation led by Cao Jianming, prosecutor general, president of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA).
President Ilham Aliyev praised relationship between Azerbaijan and China, saying it would further strengthen. The head of state noted political relations between the two countries were developing successfully. The President added Azerbaijan and China had also good cooperation within international organizations. President Ilham Aliyev also pointed out there were good results in bilateral economic cooperation, as well.
According to the head of state, development of law enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan and China will contribute to expansion of bilateral relationship. The President also expressed hope that Cao Jianming`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to boosting Azerbaijan-China ties.
Cao Jianming called Azerbaijan China`s great and reliable friend. The prosecutor general said his country was interested in strengthening Azerbaijan`s position in the region. Jianming underlined the importance of the fact that Azerbaijan and China support each-other in international organizations. He also said law enforcement bodies of the two countries cooperate successfully within IAACA in fighting against corruption.
