Baku hosting 17th Republican scientific conference of PhD students and young researchers
Baku, December 18 (AZERTAC). The 17th Republican Scientific Conference of doctoral students and young researchers, organized by the Ministry of Education, has commenced today in Baku at Grand Hotel Europe.
The event was addressed by Minister Misir Mardanov.
The two-day event will hear 451 lectures submitted from 17 universities and institutes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Republican scientific conference of postgraduates and young researches has been held by the Ministry of Education since 1994. The main purpose of the conference is to strengthen the scientific potential existing in the Republic, and develop the principal directions of fundamental and applied scientific researches, encourage young scientists, as well as assess and distribute their scientific results.
A 2-day conference is holding each year and has the following directions: natural sciences (mathematics, physics, mechanics, chemistry, biology, ecology, earth sciences), technical sciences (technical equipments and technologies, computer techniques, electronics, automation, engineering industry, transport); social-humanitarian sciences and economics (sociology, political science, history, linguistics, philology, psychology, pedagogy, economics).
Postgraduates and young researchers distinguished themselves through the relevance of their topics, ability to carry out scientific research work and delivered it to the audience.
