Board of Directors of Nizami Ganjavi International Centre holds 7th meeting
Andorra, September 10 (AZERTAC). The capital of Andorra La Vella has hosted the 7th meeting of Board of Directors of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre. The meeting was held within the international conference “Restoring confidence in Europe”.
The meeting saw discussions on the activity report of the Centre for 2013-2014s, the projects to be implemented in 2014-2015s, as well as international events.
According to the decision of the Board of Directors, Baku in April, 2015 will host the 3rd Global Forum of Shared Societies.
The next forum will be on conflicts in Europe, application of new methods in the settlement of the “frozen” conflicts, processes in Middle East and the Arabic world.
Co-Chairs of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre, President of the Club de Madrid Vaira Vike-Freiberga, director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Ismail Serageldin, Speaker of Andorra's Parliament Vicenç Mateu Zamora, former Prime Minister of Andorra Oscar Ribas Reig, former presidents Stephan Mesic (Croatia), Emil Constantinescu (Romania), Boris Tadic (Serbia), Petar Stoyanov (Bulgaria), as well as chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov, Azerbaijani ambassador to Spain Altay Afandiyev, chairman of the Georgian University's Guardians Council Giuli Alasania and others attended the meeting.
