Brussels hosts European Employment Forum

Baku November 30 (AZERTAC). The European Employment Forum wrapped up in Brussels on November 29.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the participants were highly interested in presentations on Azerbaijan.

The international event hosted discussions on settlement of the youth employment problem in Europe, the role of Mass Media in the labour market reforms, the employment provision of elder people and other issues.

The forum also featured the exhibition on socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, as well as creation of the new jobs, provision of useful employment of unemployed citizens, vocational training.

Nearly 400 delegates from 26 countries looked at the stand, familiarized themselves with the works done in the field of employment and praised the achievements in this area.

The Azerbaijani delegation has established the new partnership relations with the representatives of the other countries and held discussions on issues of mutual interest.
