CEA TO OPEN “SUNDAY SCHOOL” FOR AZERBAIJANI CHILDREN IN ITALY
The Congress of European Azerbaijanis (CEA) will open a “Sunday School” for Azerbaijani children living in Italy.
As provided, this offer was made during the visit to Italy of the CEA president Natig Agamiorv. In his meeting with the Azerbaijanis living in this country, it was noted necessity of undertaking steps for realization of this suggestion to open a school, maintain native language, careful attitude towards the national spiritual heritage.
Attending the meeting was also the ambassador of Azerbaijan to this country, Emil Karimov, who spoke of all-sided support for opening of the “Sunday School”.
In meeting, also were exchanged views on the tasks before the Azerbaijani Diaspora n this country, in particular, on necessity of bringing to the notice of Italian public of the realities of historical past and present life of Azerbaijani people.
