CONSUL OF AZERBAIJAN`S CONSULATE GENERAL TO LOS ANGELES VISITS HAWAII STATE

Baku, February 18 (AZERTAC). Elman Abdullayev, consul of Azerbaijan`s Consulate General to Los Angeles visited the State of Hawaii, on February 17.

During the meeting with members of the House of Representatives, the diplomat discussed the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hawaii in the areas of tourism, alternative energy and investments.

Mr. Abdullayev also attended the session of the House of Representatives. The deputies Rida Kabanilla and Cin Vord expressed their satisfaction with the ”Woman`s role in intercultural dialogue” international forum held in Baku, June 2008 with initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and support of UNESCO and ISESCO. They expressed their gratitude to President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva for conducting such event.

Later, Rida Kabanilla gave a reception in honor of Azerbaijan-Hawaii friendship.
