Egypt, Azerbaijan: grater potential to boost bilateral relations
Baku, October 13 (AZERTAC). Foreign minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with the newly appointed ambassador of Egypt to Azerbaijan Tarik Abu Sinan.
The Minister congratulated Egyptian ambassador on his appointment and expressed consent with the current level of bilateral relations between the two countries. “The Egyptian-Azerbaijani relations will acquire a higher level as there is a larger potential for cooperation”, Mammadyarov said. “To this end, the reciprocal visits have to be intensified, while the mutual economic cooperation has to be boosted”. “This will make certain contribution to development of bilateral relations”, Mammadyarov underlined.
Tarik Abu Sinan said he was pleased with his appointment as an ambassador of his country to Azerbaijan, noting he would spare no efforts to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.
