Exhibition titled “The Magic of Azerbaijani Carpets” opens in Ukraine's Irpin

An exhibition titled “The Magic of Azerbaijani Carpets”, featuring a private collection of Azerbaijani compatriot Seymur Abushov, has opened at the Irpin Historical and Local Lore Museum in Ukraine.
The exhibition was co-organized by the Irpin City Council and the United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress, with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Angela Makeeva, Acting Mayor of the Irpin City Council, highlighted that such events contribute to the development of intercultural dialogue and the strengthening of cooperation between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
Seymur Mardaliyev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ukraine, underlined that the exhibition is another symbol of the strong friendship, mutual support, understanding, and shared commitment to peace, development, and prosperity between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
At the conclusion of the event, Rovshan Taghiyev, Head of the United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress; Khayyam Dunyamalizade, Chief of Staff of the United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress; and Seymur Abushov were presented with certificates of appreciation by the Irpin City Council for their contributions to the development of intercultural dialogue.
