Dear Mr. President, dear brother!
On behalf of the people of Turkey and on my own, I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency and all the people of Azerbaijan on the national holiday of your fraternal country - the Republic Day.
As you have rightly indicated, although 20 years is a relatively short period from a historical point of view, the relations between our fraternal countries have successfully developed in all areas. The strengthening and further advancement of the deeply-rooted closeness and the exemplary solidarity between our peoples are our biggest objectives.
Our primary goal is to further expand on the exceptional successes achieved in our cooperation with Azerbaijan ever since your republic regained its independence and to elevate our relations to an even higher level in the interests of our brotherly peoples and for the benefit of peace and stability in our region.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that my wife and I are very delighted to renew our invitation of Your Excellency and your wife to pay an official visit to Turkey.
I wish Your Excellency and my dear brother good health and happiness on the occasion of the national holiday - the Republic Day - and stability and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
