Gunay Afandiyeva visits International Turkic Academy

President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with President of the International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev in Kazakhstan.
The importance of the mutual activities of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the International Turkic Academy in the direction of protection and promotion of the ancient, rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples was discussed at the meeting. The successful holding of the conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev as part of the joint cooperation of the two brotherly Turkic organizations was emphasized as a contribution to the development of relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The publication of the book "Manas" with the cooperation of the Foundation and the Academy was evaluated as an important project in the direction of keeping the traditions of common Turkic storytelling alive and conveying them in a more understandable language in the modern time.
The sides also discussed the prospects of joint projects.
