Information board commemorating Azerbaijani national hero unveiled in Ottawa
Baku, June 8 (AZERTAC). An information board commemorating Azerbaijan’s national hero Mubariz Ibrahimov had been unveiled at the Minto Park in Ottawa, the capital of Canada.
Speaking to the unveiling ceremony, Yashar Mughan, a member of the Azerbaijani community, provided an insight into the life of Mubariz Ibrahimov, who died for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
He said Ibrahimov was “an example of heroism to our youth”.
The ceremony was attended by employees of Azerbaijan’s Embassy to Canada.
