International Air Transport Association, Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration sign MoU
Baku, April 30 (AZERTAC). The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the State Civil Aviation Administration of Azerbaijan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on strategic partnership.
The document envisages improvement of security of flights, training of aviation specialists and application of the state-of-the-art transportation equipment.
Prior to the signing ceremony, director of the State Civil Aviation Administration Fuad Guliyev met Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the IATA Tony Tyler.
Guliyev gave an insight into the administration`s activity, and touched upon a memorandum of understanding to be signed between the two organizations.
The IATA Director General hailed his meeting with Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev.
