Italian ambassador visits Baku High Oil School
Baku, January 16 (AZERTAC). Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mario Baldi has today visited the Baku High Oil School to meet Rector Elmar Gasimov.
Gasimov noted that the training of personnel that meet international standards is the major issue in developing Azerbaijan. He said that the School accepted students with the highest achievement and it was equipped with the modern technology. "In the near future, a modern campus will be built for the school," Gasimov added.
Rector also stressed the importance of expanding the school's international relations. "We are particularly interested in working with research and education centres of Italy," he said.
In turn, Baldi praised the education system of the Baku High Oil School in English.
The ambassador said that necessary measures are currently implemented to promote cooperation between the School and the University of Pisa, company Alfa Process Control and Corporate University of company ENI.
Following the meeting, Baldi was awarded an Honorary Guest diploma of the Baku High Oil School.
