Korean Center to be set up at Azerbaijan State Economic University
Baku, January 23 (AZERTAC). Korean ambassador in Baku Choi Suk-inn and rector of the Azerbaijan State Economic University Shamsaddin Hajiyev have agreed to create a Korean Center at the University.
The agreement was reached during the ambassador`s visit to the Azerbaijan State Economic University.
The Center will promote the Korean language, culture and history as well as the country`s economic experience in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting rector Hajiyev spoke of the history and activities of the University. He praised the Azerbaijan-Korea relations, saying the two countries have close cooperation in the spheres of economy, politics, culture, science and education.
The rector pointed out there were good opportunities for developing the bilateral relations even further.
The Korean ambassador praised the Azerbaijani government`s attention to development of education.
Suk-inn emphasized the role of scientific and educational cooperation in the relations between Korea and Azerbaijan.
