Krakow hosts conference on Azerbaijan, Poland energy cooperation

Baku, April 22 (AZERTAC). An international conference on energy cooperation between Poland and Azerbaijan was held in Krakow, Poland.
Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev represented the country at the event, which was organized by Center for Strategic Studies of Krakow.
The conference brought together Polish officials, including, Deputy Premier and Minister of Economy, Co-chairman of Poland-Azerbaijan inter-governmental commission Janusz Piechociński, former Defense Minister, Senator Bogdan Klikh and his suppose, President of Polish Center for Strategic Studies Anna Szymańska Klich, politicians, economists, representatives of leading energy companies, research centers and journalists.
The conference featured on the discussions on global energy problems and achievements of Poland-Azerbaijan bilateral partnership, as well as, works carried out by the countries in this field.
Polish Deputy Premier addressed the conference and briefed the participants on the world energy problems and European Union (EU)-Poland relations. The Polish Official hailed the bilateral relations between the two countries, noting several joint projects carried out by the two countries.
Azerbaijani Minister Natig Aliyev gave detailed information on the country`s energy achievements after reforms by National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of oil industry.
The Azerbaijani Official also held mutual meetings with Deputy Premier Janusz Piechociński, Senator Bogdan Klikh and his suppose, President of Polish Center for Strategic Studies Anna Szymańska Klich and exchanged views in various fields.
