“L'Express” newspaper posts article on signing Shah Deniz 2 Final Investment Decision
Paris, December 23 (AZERTAC). French “L’Express” newspaper has issued an article headlined “Shah Deniz field: the agreement opens the transportation of gas to Europe”.
The author of the article recalled the solemn ceremony to sign Shah Deniz 2 Final Investment Decision in Baku.
The article highlights that Azerbaijan’s gas was available for the Europe after the implementation of the largest energy project of the 21st century “Shah Deniz 2”.
The post notes that President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso praised the signing of Shah Deniz 2 Final Investment Decision as an important step for ensuring energy security.
“L’Express” also recalls the words of President Ilham Aliyev: “Shah Deniz 2” will change energy map of the Europe”.
The article also highlights speeches of BP Group Chief Executive Robert Dudley, European Union Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger, and Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland William Hague.
