March 3 marks International Writers’ Day

Baku, March 3, AZERTAC

Today the International Writers’ Day is celebrated all over the world. The day has been celebrated since 1921, when the PEN (Poets, Essayists and Novelists) club announced it as the International Writers’ Day.

The first international congress of the PEN club was held in London in 1923.
