OSCE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY`s 8th WINTER SESSION KICKS OFF
Baku. February 19 (AZERTAC). The 8th winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly started Thursday in Vienna, Austria.
The two-day session which brings together 270 representatives from 56 countries will focus on security issues in Europe.
Azerbaijan is represented at the event by a delegation led by vice-speaker of Parliament (Milli Majlis) Bahar Muradova.
During the event, members of the Azerbaijani delegation will deliver speeches on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, situation in the South Caucasus and energy security.
On the sidelines of the session, the Azerbaijani parliamentarians also met with their counterparts from various countries on bilateral relations, interparliamentary ties, and cooperation within international parliamentary organizations.
The Azeri MPs also briefed their counterparts on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and its threat to regional security and stability.
