PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV ARRIVES IN SHAMKIR REGION
Shamkir, 25 may (AZERTAC). President Ilham Aliyev wrapped up his Goygol trip and arrived in Shamkir region.
He started his trip by putting flowers at a monument to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
The Head of State familiarized himself with the construction work done around the monument.
During the trip, President Ilham Aliyev also inaugurated Shamkir Olympic Sports Complex.
The Head of State attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a reservoir to be built on the Shamkir river.
The President familiarized himself with “Sherg Ulduzu” Ltd. and a park located in front of the Culture House.
He also viewed an exhibition of products being manufactured in the region.
