PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV ATTENDS LAUNCH OF “AZERBAIJAN” BOOK
Baku, March 18 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today attended a ceremony to launch “Azerbaijan” book published as part of a Heydar Aliyev Foundation project.
The book features detailed information on Azerbaijan, including the country`s history, culture, traditions and ethnographic characteristics. The book includes over 1000 photos.
The book`s foreword was written by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva.
The launch ceremony was attended by state and government officials, MPs and members of the general public. The event was opened by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva who provided an insight into the book.
President Ilham Aliyev made remarks at the ceremony to praise the book.
The ceremony featured an exhibition of photos from the book.
