President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Chess Centre in Gazakh region
Gazakh, April 12 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated the Chess Centre in Gazakh region.
The Head of State cut a red ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility.
The Head of State was informed that the reconstruction work of the Center initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation started here in December, 2011.
A bust to the national leader Heydar Aliyev was erected in the foyer of the center. The photostand reflecting visits of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to Gazakh, meetings held with young people was also opened here.
A total area of the new building is 750 square meters. The Centre has five training, service and computer rooms and canteen.
The Head of State watched the games of young chess players.
President Ilham Aliyev hailed the conditions created here and gave relevant instructions.
