President of Azerbaijan inaugurates Baku-Alat highway
Baku, November 8 (AZERTAC). President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan today inaugurated the Baku-Alat highway and inspected the construction works ongoing at the incomplete stretches of this road.
Road builders and transport officials cheered the head of state.
Minister Ziya Mammadov informed on the works done within the project being implemented here since 2009 under appropriate Executive Order of the Azerbaijan President.
AS stated, the road will enable to link south, south-west, west and central regions of country, as well as the border points in some border regions.
President Aliyev congratulated road builders and cut the ribbon symbolizing opening of the road.
