President of Azerbaijan opens completed stretches of Baku-Russia border road
Baku, November 8 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today opened the completed stretches of the Baku-Russia border road after reconstruction.
Road builders and transport officials welcomed the President.
As stated, the Baku-Russia border road has been reconstructed since 2008 by the Transport Ministry`s “Azeryolsrvis” OSC, Italy`s “Todini Costruzioni Generali S. p.A.” companies and “Accord Inshaat Sanaye” OSC.
The 17-km border road with 11 passages and junction will provide free traffic of the transport at this state border area.
The President inaugurated the road, congratulated the builders and wished success in their work.
