PRESIDENTIAL PRESS SERVICE INFORMS

US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte called Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on October 17.

On behalf of the US government and on his behalf the Deputy Secretary congratulated Ilham Aliyev on re-election as Azerbaijan`s President and wished him successes in his further activities.

The Azerbaijani leader expressed gratitude to John Negroponte for his congratulations.
