SECOND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ON INTELLECTUAL GAMES TO START IN BAKU
Opening of the second World Championship on intellectual games ‘What? Where? When?’ and ‘Brain-Ring’ will be held in State Theatre of Musical Comedy on August 14. One hundred and eighty representatives form Azerbaijan, USA, Russia, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine and Moldova are expected to take part in the championship. The tournament has been organized by Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism, National Olympic Committee, National Council of Youth Organizations, and sponsored by ‘Azpetrol’ and Azerbaijan International Bank.
In the intellectual game ‘What? Where? When?’, Azerbaijan will be represented by teams of Faig Huseynov, Anar Azimov and Zaur Aliyev, and in ‘Bain-Ring’ – by that of Balash Gasimov.
