‘SONGS OF MY SOUL’
Russian journalist Vladimir Upalyuk, living in Norilsk (Russian Federation), has issued a book dedicated to the creation of People’s Artist of the USSR, world-famous singer Rashid Behbudov. The book is named ‘Pesni moyey dushi’ (‘Songs of my soul’). Recently, the author delivered a copy of the book to the Rashid Behbudov Fund.
According to the Head of the Fund, Kamil Shahverdi, journalist Vladimir Upalyuk during many years had been collecting information about Rashid Behbudov.
The book reflects texts of 120 songs, performed by Rashid Behbudov, unpublished photos, interesting information and illustrations.
Having visited Baku, the Russian journalist met with members of Rashid Behbudov’s family.
Now Vladimir Upalyuk is working under the second book. This book is also dedicated to Rashid Behbudov and collects memoirs of the outstanding Russian and Azerbaijani cultural figures about the unforgettable singer Rashid Behbudov
