TRIO “SHIRVAN” TO LEAVE FOR FRANCE
According to the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis living abroad, the ninth Rouktanbul festival will take place in Grenoble, France, in October. The Rounktanbul Association decided to support an active member of Azerbaijani Diaspora in France, founder and leader of musical band “Kazakh”, Frederick Kazakhbeyli, of Azerbaijani origin. The mugham trio “Shirvan” has been invited to demonstrate Azerbaijani folk music at the festival.Frederick Kazakhbeyli asked Azerbaijani side to finance part of expenses for realization of this project. The Project, financed by the Embassy of France to Azerbaijan and the Mayoral of Grenoble, amounts over 90 thousand Euros.
