Turkish MP visits Qafqaz University
Baku, December 24 (AZERTAC). Visiting Azerbaijan Deputy of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Koksal Toptan has visited today Qafqaz University where he met with Rector Ahmed Sanic.
Welcoming the guest on behalf of the staff of Qafqaz University, the rector reminded the first visit of the deputy to the university in 2008. During that meeting, the Turkish deputy has been presented the Honorary Doctor Diploma of the university.
Speaking about the Azerbaijan-Turkish relations, the Turkish MP stated that these relations were established thanks to national leader Heydar Aliyev who attached great importance to these relations. This policy is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
Further, the guest familiarized himself with the new building of the University`s economic faculty.
