TURKSOY EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR INTERNATIONAL AWARD
Original works, created after January 1, 2001 conforming to the purposes and intentions of this organization, including literary, musical works, different genres of fine arts, individual works of scientists, scientific-theoretical works on cinematography, architecture and other arts created by a group of authors, serving protection, enrichment and development of the treasury of common Turkish world culture, programs and projects, related to culture and arts, gaining authority internationally, regionally and nationally are permitted to competition.
The candidates can be nominated by Ministries of Culture of TURKSOY member-countries, international organizations functioning in the field of culture and art, governmental and independent bodies, creative unions, mass media.
Turkish and Russian translations must be attached to the original text of the works.
Selected works will be announced an the session of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of Turkish speaking countries to be held late 2003.
The award is defined in the amount of USD15 thousand.
The awarding ceremony will be held in one of the TURKSOY member countries in 2004.
