WOMEN TO BE WIDELY REPRESENTED IN MUNICIPALITIES
A meeting of women-representatives of intelligentsia of the village of Ashaghy Tala and neighboring ones in Zagatala province was held here to discuss the “Rise in Activity of Women in Social and Political Life of the Region”. According to local executive power, speakers at the meeting touched on the state‘s care about women, and stressed the importance of women’s involvement in socio-political processes, in particular, the municipal elections scheduled for this year fall, and the need for them to be wider represented in the institutions local government.
