Final stage of 3rd International Khankendi Ultramarathon kicks off in Aghdam

The fourth and final stage of the 3rd International Khankendi Ultramarathon, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, and Baku City Circuit, has kicked off in Aghdam.
A total of 97 athletes from six countries are taking part in the race.
The international ultramarathon aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and running as a sport, as well as showcase various regions of Azerbaijan through sports.
Participants will cover 29.2 kilometers from Aghdam to the finish line in Khankendi.
The winners of this stage will receive individual awards, while the overall winners of the ultramarathon will be presented with the main prize.
The Khankendi Ultramarathon was first held in 2024 along the Khankendi–Baku route. Covering a distance of 380 kilometers, the race brought together 64 athletes from four countries. In 2025, the ultramarathon was held along the Gabala–Khankendi route, attracting 81 athletes from six countries.
